I realized today that those of you viewing the blog on a screen with a horizontal resolution of less than 1280 pixels (including those using the very common size of 1024 x 768) will have the right side of my posted photos cut off by the browser. Rather than asking you all to change your screen resolutions, I’ll be posting smaller pictures, which will allow you all to see all of the pictures, without having the right edge cut off. You can access larger versions of any picture (and I encourage you to do this, go get the full effect) by clicking on the picture, which will take you to the Flickr site. By clicking the “all sizes” button above the picture, you can see a larger version.
For example, my friend the hedgehog (see preceding post) will now look like this:
I’m also considering paying a little more to be able to increase the font on the blog. Are any of you having trouble reading the small font? It bugs me, but maybe I’m the only one who notices.
Finally, those of you using Firefox can easily subscribe to feeds from this blog by clicking the orange icon in the address bar, which will allow you to put feeds on your My Yahoo or Google homepages. Internet Explorer has a similar function, but does not seem to allow you to put the feed on your Yahoo or Google home page.
