A week or so ago I struggled up to the house site after a rain to see if there was any problem with runoff or erosion. There wasn’t. I walked around a bit and took some pictures. The saddest was this one of the address tiles above our front door. We had bought these at the big BHV store across from the Hotel de Ville in Paris. They were the classic address tiles that you see on most Paris buildings (and elsewhere).
We bought these at the big BHV store right next to the Hotel de Ville in Paris. They almost survived.
A few other pictures from the visit to the site are below.
Shortly after the first shower after the fire I threw down some seed. I’m glad to see it’s finally taking root.
An EV didn’t fit into the new back-and-forth lifestyle; VW fixed the cheating problem and the car gets 42 mpg. Smooth ride, big cargo area, nice interior and sound, I love it.
Hawks Hawks Hawks. I know it probably makes me look unsophisticated tooling around the Bay Area … but I don’t care.
