Thanks to everyone of my super friends for the kind words and good thoughts. I appreciated each and every note more than you can know.
One unfortunate thing about receiving treatment at Stanford is that the drive from the (north) East Bay is a killer. Traffic is so variable that I have to give myself a 45-minute buffer. Yesterday it was 1.5 hours there and almost 2 hours back. Each appointment seems to take up most of a day. At least the route is scenic.
