One day out of the hospital, and all is still well. Still no side effects. Suzie is diligently taking my temperature (normal) and blood pressure (ditto). Yesterday after leaving the hospital I went on a breezy, sunny 1.1 mile walk, which was pleasant and easy. I have to wear a mask outside, but just a paper N95, not the monster mask required last time I was here.
Suzie did a great job in finding us an apartment in Palo Alto. It’s a bright, quiet, confortable two-bedroom unit in a modern complex, located just a few blocks away from nice pedestrian commercial area (California Street) containing many different kinds of ethnic restaurants, from Cuban to Pakistani-Indian to French. Today we got take-out for lunch from a French place (bien sûr). Much better than hospital food.
Since I have a larger blog audience at this point, I’d like your advice. I’ve ginned up two non-Wordpress sites, and I’d like to know which you prefer. Loading ...You may prefer this site, my WordPress site. Not being a “static” site, it has a lot more functionality, like comments and polls. But the hosting service for it costs more (since it requires a back-end server) and it’s a lot less fun to fool around with (it’s designed for people who aren’t coders, and tends to be clunky.) If so, you can vote that preference below.
